Centre forward currently at Town on loan from Championship side Nottingham Forest. Garner began his career at home town club Blackburn Rovers, but failed to make the break through at Ewood Park and joined Carlisle , first on loan and then ,for a club record £140,000 in 2007. After just one season at Carlisle he was then sold on to Notts Forest for £1.14m. Under Colin Calderwood he became a regular in the Forest side, however once Billy Davies took over he found himself dropped down the pecking order.
