Veteran keeper who started at QPR and Newcastle before getting his break at Peterborough United. During his time at Peterborough he helped the club secure back to back promotions from Division Four to Division Two in the early 90’s. In 1993 he became one of Barry Frys 296 signings at Birmingham City when he joined them for £325,000 and became first team keeper for five years before injury saw him replaced by Kevin Poole. Since leaving Birmingham in 2005 he has found himself a number two keeper at a succession of clubs.
